This event will provide high school students the opportunity to explore potential career paths, engage with future employers and contribute to the future workforce.

AWARDS
Educator of the Year Award
2019 Winner-Jeff Leaf, Music Teacher, Dover Middle School
Education professionals working in a chamber member school who plan to continue in their position next year are eligible. Nominees must 1) have daily contact with students 2) employ innovative strategies to optimize student learning 3) make a positive contribution to the community by fostering civic participation among his/her students 4) demonstrate ongoing leadership in professional development activities and encourage cooperative relationships with colleagues. A $1,000 stipend comes with the award, sponsored by Cognia
Member Schools/Education Centers
Student Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship sponsored by Cognia is awarded annually to a student accepted to a post secondary education institution. Eligibility requirements: 1) student is graduating from a chamber member school 2) works for a chamber member business 3) has a parent/guardian that works for a chamber member business.
