form for the 2008 Dover, NH Citizen of the Year. The selection
committee will meet in April of 2008 to select the recipient.
The 2008 Citizen of the Year will be announced at the Greater Dover Chamber of
Commerce Annual Dinner on May 16, 2008. Please complete the
nomination form, checking to make sure that the nominee meets the listed
criteria.

Purpose: To
Recognize an individual who has dedicated time, talent and energy in
service to the residents of the Dover area.
Criteria:
1. Any person who is 18 years of age or older and living or
working in the Dover area is eligible.
2. Service to be recognized should have been of benefit to the
community or to society in general.
3. Service to be recognized should have been performed over and
above the normal duties of one's salaried or paid position.
4. Service need not have been confined to a single year but should
be recent enough to have current significance.
5. Current officers and members of the Board of Directors of the
Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce are not eligible for the award.
