In 2008, the Greater Dover
Chamber of Commerce will honor an exemplary, Chamber member, business in the Dover area.
You are invited to nominate a business (or businesses) you feel is
deserving of this recognition. The selected business will be
honored at the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce's 2008 Annual dinner on
May 16, 2008.
The award program is
modeled after the state awards presented by Business NH Magazine and the
NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.
Nominees must be members
of the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and exemplify good business
practices, contribute to their community and serve as role models for
other businesses.
Merit, not size, should be
the key consideration in making nominations.
Self-nominations are
welcome.
Nominated businesses will
be evaluated on success and health of the business, and community
involvement, with emphasis placed on service to the Greater Dover area.
Businesses or
organizations may be nominated in one of the following categories,
however, only one award will be made this year.

people who make nominations for the Chamber awards go to a great
deal of trouble filling in the form. The judges usually have a
significant amount of background information to review for the award
winners. You may make a nomination with minimal information,
however, for your nominee to have a chance you should spend a little
